Eric and Chris Wilhelm are proud to be the new owners of Freedom Power Sports. The Wilhelms have lived within 5 miles of the Freedom Location for over 20 years, and are deeply involved in the surrounding communities. They purchased the Dealership in June, after searching the Atlanta market for the best power sports opportunity. Eric and Chris have travelled different parts of North America together via motorcycle and were both at a place and time to leverage the Father /Son relationship into a successful business in an industry they both enjoyed.

After Eric started a supply chain/logistics company in Atlanta in 1994. He grew that company, Wilpak, to be the industry leader and become the benchmark for all others. Wilpak was well known for its commitment to excellence. With over 600 employees, and 35 production lines, Wilpak never missed a ship date or experienced a quality problem, shipping 100 truckloads a day to retail. After selling Wilpak in 2007, Eric has since become involved in community banking, and commercial real estate development. His wife of 25 years, Deborah, manages the family horse farm in Marietta, competing with their daughters in the national Dressage competitions.

Chris graduated in 2008 from the University of Colorado, after attending Harrison High School, and its nearby feeder schools. He enjoyed being a part of the inaugural Lacrosse program there, He has been riding motorcycles since the age of 12, and has motocross experience, and now a collection of street bikes. Chris enjoyed a successful start to his post college career with Denyse signs in Douglasville, prior to the Freedom purchase. You will see him in a dynamic state around the dealership, always trying to learn new ways of improving the customer experience.

After many years and many motorcycles, Eric and Chris have experience with over a dozen local dealers. They have both always wanted to do business with a dealership that would treat them with honesty and respect, with a sense of urgency and quality. They recently decided that the best way to achieve this difficult task, was to create it. They purchased Freedom Power Sports in June and immediately set out on the task of creating that very dealership for all enthusiasts in Atlanta. The first order of business at Freedom was to bring the Triumph line on board, to speak to an entirely new, sophisticated customer. Next was the Tuesday night bike nights, now drawing 100 people in just two short months.
